When your Anchor is stuck first move your boat directly over the anchor and secure your line.

Then, accelerate slowly in the direction you were anchored.

The shear pin will break when a certain amount of predetermined pressure is applied. This causes the shackle to separate from the release bar.

The transfer point changes from the front (shank) of the anchor to the back (Crown).. quickly withdrawing the anchor from the obstruction.  SEE THE UNDERWATER VIDEO
